Design new emails that inform and engage Garmin customers.
My Role
Collaborate with designers, developers and stakeholders to create a plug-and-play email template that gives flexibility for different email needs across multiple markets
Shape and define new copy standards with a “less is more” mentality, so consumers don’t feel overwhelmed and are enticed to click through and learn more
Create guidelines to ensure consistency across all writers going forward
Announcement Emails
BEFORE
The announcement emails were bogged down with too much copy and acted more as a miniature product web page.
AFTER
I worked with a web designer to narrow the focus of the emails. Now, they highlight the main product message and key features, as well as drive traffic to the product web pages.
EMAIL GUIDELINES
After we redesigned the email templates, I created a set of guidelines for the most-requested email types. This is an example of the single product announcement email guidelines.
